Pathways exists to support local communities in exploring the riches of their own culture and language by empowering community members to preserve the rich and widely varied oral and written forms of their languages.

We celebrate the uniqueness and richness of local cultures through language development and documentation. We desire to not only provide opportunities for local communities to celebrate their heritage, but to contribute to the body of academic work related to these languages as well. Pathways also seeks to provide access to an archived body of data, enabling future generations in each community we work with to benefit from this record and enjoy their heritage.
